The Mabel Ihegboro Foundation was established in 2010 with a vision to create sustainable change in marginalized communities. What began as a small initiative to support education for underprivileged children has grown into a comprehensive organization addressing multiple dimensions of development.
Named after our founder, Mabel Ihegboro, who dedicated her life to community service, the foundation carries forward her legacy of compassion, empowerment, and transformative action.
Over the years, we have expanded our reach to include healthcare initiatives, economic empowerment programs, environmental conservation efforts, and advocacy for social justice.

2010
Foundation established with focus on educational support for underprivileged children in rural communities.
2012
Expanded to include healthcare initiatives, starting with mobile medical clinics in remote areas.
2015
Launched economic empowerment programs focusing on vocational training and micro-enterprise development.
2018
Introduced environmental conservation programs and reached milestone of impacting 5,000 lives directly.
2020
Pivoted to provide emergency relief during pandemic while maintaining core programs, reaching 10,000 lives impacted.
2023
Expanded operations to three new regions and established strategic partnerships with international organizations.
